RACC [Racers Against Childhood Cancer]

Mission: To use the passion and competitive spirit of Racers to raise money for research and the fight to defeat childhood cancer.

is a charitable organization founded on September 9th, 2007 by Cole Braun that is committed to raising money to defeat childhood cancer.

Cole and his wife Jenny have been closely involved with raising and donating money to support Children's Cancer Research since 1984, and have always seeked ways to make a bigger impact to forward this important cause. Having competed in over 1,000 racing events in a vast variety of disciplines, Cole understands the passionate, competetive spirit of racers: when pushing the limits of their bodies and abilities far beyond normal human limits, nearly all are motivated by something beyond themselves.

It is this passion and selflessness that RACC seeks to leverage toward the fight against pediatric cancer. Racers understand and support the 'good fight' — by both their nature and training; and many already have great experience with fund-raising and sponsorship, wishing to do something that can make a real difference for a cause in which they believe when they make their beyond-human efforts.

With this vision, passion, and experience, the RACC founders and all their supporters now set out on the mission of making childhood cancer a condition that becomes just a distant memory to its survivors. Because everyone should have the opportunity to say:
